It's always hard-hitting for the comedians to stay for a long time in industry, labeled as "Comedians". That means it is true to say they have to face a tough time. The same is the scene with Jim Carrey. He was born in Newmarket, Ontario, Canada in 1962. In his elemantry school, he use to perform for his classmates, this moment marked his early call from his carrer of being a Comedian. Currently, he is putting in Brentwood, California. He made a start by engaging himself in Yuk Yuk's, a famous Toronto comedy club at the age of 15, and then maintained this flow by performing in clubs all over Canada.

During a tour organized by comedian Rodney Dangerfield, his talents came into notice and Rodney was badly taken away by the young talent which carved an easy way for him to get another break in Comedy world. After getting a role in the series The Duck Factory, Carrey realized that he can no more stand as a comic figure and therefore decided to land as an actor in his professional career. The actor's exclusive combination of originality, mimicry and novelty with an extreme style of physical comedy has taken into custody the attention of film audiences throughout the world.

His first extraordinary production was Earth Girls Are Easy. Later he gained national exposure, while he got a break in "In Living Color", playing one of the show's two white cast members. In 1995, Carrey outshined in the box office release "Batman Forever" as the Riddler.

The movies for which he was nominated as a Golden Globe Best Actor includes: When Nature Calls, Dumb and Dumber, The Cable Guy, The Truman Show, and Liar Liar . Most of the popular and living characters in modern film history, is his contribution. This can be seen clearly in his movies Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, The Mask, based on the Dark Horse comic book series of the same name, Dumb and Dumber and Ace Ventura. With the 1996 release of The Cable Guy, Carrey's worldwide box office exceeded the $l billion mark.
