In 2004, the Hollywood Film Festival's Board of Advisors, alongwith Paula Wagner, were proud to declare that this year's festival will credit Mel Gibson with its "Hollywood Producer of the Year Award". No doubt this personality has already been credited with many Oscars before. The award was conferred upon Mr. Gibson in a Gala Ceremony held on October 18, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
