Anna Nicole Smith BiographyAnna Nicole Smith was born in 1967 in Mexia, a small place in Texas (USA). Her real name is Vickie Lynn Hogan. When Anna was a child her father abandoned her and her mother and thereafter, she was raised by her mother and aunt. At the age of 17, Anna (then Vicki) married Billy Smith, and that same year(1984), they welcomed their son Daniel into the world.Soon after Daniel's birth, Anna abandoned Billy and headed to Houston. A new life, a series of new names (she began performing on the club circuit under her childhood nickname of "Nikki" and another pseudonym, "Robin," before choosing the classier-sounding name "Anna Nicole") and thoughts of achieving an old dream - becoming the next Marilyn Monroe - began. When Nicole was a child she had learned many of Monroe's songs by heart. Like Vickie, Marilyn Monroe didn't know her father and grew up poor. All these similarities between her own life and that of Monroe had Anna obsessed with the idea that it was her destiny to be like Marilyn. In order to pay the bills, Anna began to work in some topless bars of Houston. In one of these topless lounges she was discovered by a photographer. But she still wasn't good looking enough to become a well-known person. So Anna gave fate a helping hand by using her body to make some quick money and to become a star. She had several face operations done and her bosom was filled up with silicon. She entered the Playboy Cover Contest, and appeared on the cover of the magazine at the age of 24. Two years later, Anna was crowned 1993's Play-mate of the Year. She made her big screen debut in the 1994 slapstick comedy, Naked Gun 33 1/3: The Final Insult, followed by an appearance in The Hudsucker Proxy, starring Tim Robbins. In 1994, she married J. Howard Marshall, an 89-year-old wheelchair-bound billionaire. But after his death in 1995 she didn't get a lot of money. The heirs claimed at the court that Marshall couldn't have been in full possession of his mind when he married her and the court seems to have concurred with the idea and such Anna received "only" about two million dollars. Bizarre Behaviour!Anna Nicole Smith isn't the brightest woman we've ever watched. The proof is in the pudding. In 2002, she agreed to take on the E! channel and do a reality series based on her everyday life. And although she is an incredibly strange woman when the cameras are rolling, Anna has managed to turn the reality series into the stuff late-night comedy is made of.

On August 4th, 2002, the E! channel began airing its first season of The Anna Nicole Show. Although Anna had gained a considerable amount of weight, viewers tuned in to watch Anna make a fool of herself week after week. Before the second season started, producers of the show demanded that Anna drop some weight before shooting began. 
An advertising campaign for Swedish fashion company "H&M" with posters of Anna caused several car accidents in major European cities (1994). Just imagine how mesmerized those poor man must have been with her photos to lose their sense of direction and ram there cars into those of others!
