Avril LavigneAll of 18 and already a star! Avril Lavigne will be doing a concert for Concert for Tsunami Relief at Vancouver's GM Place on January 29th. The concert is sponsored by Clear Channel. Other acts on the bill include Sarah McLachlan and Barenaked Ladies. The death toll of the December 26th tsunami that devastated South Asia has surpassed 155,000, with survivors looking ahead to ten years of rebuilding efforts. (January 14) 
Avril Lavigne's second album, Under My Skin, sold 381,000 copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan, to debut Number One. Skin's tally shows just how far the Canadian pop star has come in the two years since she materialized on the scene with Let Go.
