Demi Moore BiographyDemi Moore was born on November 11, 1962 in Roswell, New Mexico, USA. She had a very troubled childhood. She moved a lot along with her mother, half-brother and step-father. This is all because of her stepfather's job as a newspaper ad salesman. The frequent traveling creates lots of problem in their parent's life and at the tender age of 15 Demi lost her parents. She started her modeling career at the age of 16 in Europe. She was married to rocker Freddy Moore at the age of 18. The marriage last for four years.Moore debut film was released in 1981, appearing in both the coming-of-age drama Choices and the schlock-tactic Parasite. She has acted in a bit role in 1982's Young Doctors in Love, but her leading role came with No Small Affair (1984), there she acted as an aspiring ock singer opposite Jon Cryer. Her real breakthrough came the next year, when she starred as an unstable member of a group of college friends in St. Elmo's fire. Apparently, her onscreen instability mirrored her off-screen condition at the time; she was reportedly removed from the film but later on signed once she got into drug rehab. The film was a hit, and Moore, along with such co-stars as Emilio Estevez (to whom she was engaged for three years), Rob Lowe, and Ally Sheedy, became a member of the infamous "Brat Pack." Her fame further increased in 1987 when she wed Bruce Willis in a Las Vegas ceremony presided over by singer Little Richard. But there was more to come from Demi, in 1990, she had her biggest hit with Ghost, a romantic drama that cast her as the grieving girlfriend of the deceased Patrick Swayze. This success of Ghost secured Moore a place on the A-list. That same year, Moore gained exposure of a different sort when she appeared nude and hugely pregnant on the cover of Vanity Fair. The 90's brought Moore to the forefront of the Hollywood A-List with films such as "Ghost" (1990), "Indecent Proposal" (1993), "Disclosure" (1994), "The Juror" (1995), "Striptease" (1996), and "G.I. Jane" (1997). Demi Moore is one of the few former Brat Pack members to emerge from the 80's and 90's stronger and more successful than ever before. She may have been criticized for her intense ambition, but there is no doubt that she has been prosperous in her career. She is now recognized as one of the most powerful and influential women in Hollywood and she now rakes in over 12 million dollars a picture.
