Denise Richards BiographyThe latest Bond girl, Denise Richards, was born on February 17th , 1972 in Downers Grove, Illinois, USA. She is the older one of two daughters born to Irv and Joni Richards. The family moved to Oceanside, California when Denise was 15 years old. Her father, who used to be a telephone company employee, now owns a string of coffee shops by the name of “Jitters”. In Illinois, Denise attended the Herrick Junior High School, then Tinley Park High School, for her freshman year. When the family moved to Oceanside, Denise attended the El Camino High School there and graduated from it in1989.She started her career with posing for swimsuit magazines and then on to modeling in NewYork, Paris and Tokyo and was a makeup girl for Bonne Bell. She began her acting career in L.A. by giving auditions for television and the movies and was finally able to land herself parts in popular sitcoms such as "Life Goes On", "Saved by the Bell", "Married with Children", "Beverly Hills, 90210" and "Seinfeld", to name a few. She also appeared in "Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman". Denise made her debut in the movies with such movies as Loaded Weapon 1 (1993), Tammy and the T-Rex (1994), P.C.H. (1995), 919 Fifth Avenue (1995), In the Blink of an Eye (1996), Pier 66 (1996) and Nowhere (1997). Unfortunately, all these turned out to be poor performers at the box-office. The turning point in her career came in 1997 with the Sci-fi movie “Starship Troopers”, in which Denise plays Carmen Ibanez. And then there was “Wild Things” in 1998 which proved to be another shining star in her career. Her role as Dr. Christmas Jones in the James Bond movie “The World Is Not Enough” was what put her high up on the landscape of the acting world. Denise met her future husband Charlie Sheen while playing Cindy Styne in the romantic comedy Good Advice. She got married to Sheen on June 15th ,2002 and filed for divorce on March 2, 2005. She is currently dating actor Patrick Muldoon, who she met in an acting class in 1990, and the two are living together in L.A. now. And The Award Goes To…..Denise was nominated for Blockbuster Entertainment Award for Favorite Actress – Action, in 2000 for THE WORLD IS NOT ENOUGH and MTV Movie Award for Best Kiss in 1999 for WILD THINGS.
