Denise RichardsFamous for her roles in “Wild Things” and then in the James Bond movie “The World Is Not Enough”, Denise Richards is in a class of her own. She was born on February 17th ,1972 to parents Irv and Joni in Downers Groove, Illinois, USA. After completing her graduation, Richards began her career as a model and did some modeling assignments in New York, Paris, and Tokyo. Presumably, her stint in modeling made her want to go in for movies as well.At the start of her career, Denise went in for a number of auditions. She was finally able to get herself roles in television sitcoms such as "Life Goes On", "Saved by the Bell", "Married with Children", "Beverly Hills, 90210" and "Seinfeld", to name a few. This experience helped her fine tune her acting skills even more and also helped her move on to doing a few films also. Unfortunately, her first few films did not do well at the box office. Nevertheless, Denise persisted and then came fame and success with such films as “The Wild Things” and “The World Is Not Enough”. Although her acting in “The Wild Things” was quite impressive but being the Bond girl in The World Is Not Enough was the crowning glory of her career. The Third WheelScheduled for release later this year, Richards will star in the Miramax romantic comedy The Third Wheel opposite Luke Wilson, Ben Affleck, and Matt Damon. Produced by Matt Damon and Ben Affleck's Pearl Street Productions, the film is directed by Jordan Brady. In the film, Wilson and Richards play doomed lovers who are thwarted in their efforts to enjoy an evening together by a third wheel. |

The journey into stardom has been a rather bumpy one for Denise and she is still experiencing the ups and downs in her career. Her rise to fame and recognition hasn’t been a smooth one.
