FEVER PITCH Rewritten!
The Boston Red Sox's World Series baseball win October 27, 2004 forced a rewrite of FEVER PITCH starring Barrymore and Jimmy Fallon. The sport-based comedy originally depicts the Red Sox losing just as the baseball team has for the past 85 years. Now that must be quite a hell of a job, having to rewrite the whole thing!

Drew Barrymore, nicknamed D, never completed high school. At age 19, she married Jeremy Thomas on March 20, 1994 and divorced him six weeks later. In July 2000, Drew became engaged to comedian Tom Green and eloped to the South Pacific in March 2001. Drew and Tom divorced on October 15, 2002. She is now dating Fabrizio Moretti, drummer for The Strokes.
Barrymore is refusing to see her desperately ill father, John Drew Barrymore- because she can’t forgive him for the way he treated her. Despite cutting emotional ties, the actress still shells out financially, paying around $ 48,000 a year for her father’s care.(August 27,2003)
