Hurley’s Punk PastAt the age 12 years her immense interest in dancing inspired her to get into a boarding school for ballet instruction. Nevertheless, she had to return home at 16 because of being caught up in the English punk rock—a cultural program for youngsters with many pierces in nose and ears and spiky hairs in England in the era of 1970. Despite her punk characteristics, she won college scholarship to London Studio Centre where she was trained in dance and theatre. She did her debut film “Aria” in 1987 at the age of 21. |
