Eva Mendes Eva Mendes captured the attention of moviegoers in a small, but pivotal role in the critically acclaimed film, “Training Day.” Since then, Mendes has proved she is adept in both comedic and dramatic roles. Eva is a fiercely independent actress who refuses to be typecast in a conventional mode.While studying marketing in the late '90s she was discovered by her neighbor, a photographer, who had her  photo in his portfolio and it caught the eye of an agent. Eva appeared in a few television productions and worked with Will Ferrell and Chris Kattan in A Night at the Roxbury before being cast in a prominent role in Urban Legends: Final Cut. Eva Mendes, who is often compared to actresses Jennifer Lopez and Salma Hayek, was reported to have seduced actor Matt Damon during the making of the comedy Stuck on You (2003).
