Had the role of Mel Gibson's wife in We Were Soldiers (2002), but left the film and was replaced by Madeleine Stowe When Tim McGraw proposed, in one of the trailers, he had to go perform, so she wrote her response on the mirror (reportedly with either a lipstick or a marker pen). Met her biological mother in the early 1990s.

The Breathe singer was nervous about making her movie debut alongside the accomplished actresses, but nothing could've prepared her for the sexy outburst she had to make in front of them during a roundtable script-reading. She says, "We sat together and read over the script, and I have this scene in the movie (where I have an) orgasm. I forgot that I had to read this in the roundtable and I was sitting there going, 'Oh wow, I remember now I have to read this three-paragraph-long orgasm!' It was good.
