Hilary Duff

Hilary Ann Duff was born on September 28th, 1987 in Houston, Texas. Her parents were Bob and Susan Duff. At the tender age of six, she decided to fulfill her acting dream. She began her career as a TV star; and appeared in the mini-series, called True Women in the year 1997. But her first starring role was as Ellie in _Soul Collector in the year 1999. She was awarded young artist award for her Best Performance in a TV Movie or Pilot as a Supporting Young Actress. Hilary also starred in Casper Meets Wendy (1998) (TV) in 1998, in which she played the young witch Wendy. Success came again as she took the role of the starring title character "Lizzie McGuire" in the Disney Channel Hit Series, "Lizzie McGuire" (2001). "Lizzie", is now in its 2nd season which proves to be a hit with all sorts of audiences. Hilary recently finished the Disney Channel movie Cadet Kelly (2002) (TV) and will return to the big screen for the first time in 5 years to release her successful Lizzie McGuire (2003) movie in early 2003. Hilary has become a music, film and television occurrence. The credit goes to an unbroken string of hits that began with her starring role in the Disney Channel Original Series "Lizzie McGuire." she plans to tour her new self-titled album, "Hilary Duff," which charted no.2 on the Billboard 200 in its first week of release. She also stars in Universal Pictures' "The Perfect Man.".
