Oscar winner Hilary Swank, is all set to star in "Freedom Writers", a Richard LaGravenese-directed drama, financed and distributed by Paramount Pictures. The project is based on "The Freedom Writer's Diaries: How a Teacher and 150 Teens Used Writing to Change Themselves and the World Around Them," written by high school teacher Erin Gruwell and her students. 
Oscar winner Hilary swank was fined NZ$200 (AUD$190) for getting undeclared fruit into New Zealand. The actress was caught with an apple and orange at New Zealand's Auckland International Airport. She has since contested the fine.
