Jennifer Aniston BiographyJennifer Aniston was born as Jennifer Anastassakis on February 11, 1969, in Sherman Oaks, California. She has the flavor for acting running in her veins. Her father, John, starred as Victor Kiriakis on the daytime soap Days of Our Lives, and her mother Nancy, an actress and model. Jennifer is also the goddaughter of the late Telly Savalas (of Kojak fame). She spent her childhood in Greece but has to live with her mother in New York at the age of 9, after her parents divorced.Her decision to form a career in acting ignited when she was a member of the drama club in her high school. She also had great passion for painting. She came to limelight only when she married A-list actor, Brad Pitt in 2000, and co-starred with Mark Wahlberg in 2001's Rock Star. Gradually, Aniston dug enough space for herself that she could be seen everywhere, in magazines, tabloid shows, and in the front seat at fashion shows. Her acting in The Good Girl (2002) proved that she could be more than "Rachel". For this she even downplayed her looks. Then, the actress tried her hand in comedy and starred as Jim Carrey's girlfriend in the summer blockbuster Bruce Almighty. Considering the other modes of her life, in 2004, she was the object of Ben Stiller's affection as a flaky cocktail waitress and salsa dancer in Along Came Polly. Friends, the show finally ended its 10-year run on May 6, 2004. After a salary of $1 million per episode and Best Actress Emmy and Golden Globe, Jennifer concentrated on making movies with her and Brad Pitt's production company, Plan B Productions. She even moves on to more film roles (including 2005's Diary and 2006's Gambit). Jennifer Aniston bought fame to her name when she gave new meaning to popular hairstyles, when women worldwide demanded what is until today known as the "Rachel." After months of media rumor and guesswork, the couple formally announced their separation in January 2005. The director Doug Liman was warned by the producer, that starring Jolie to be too sexy in on-screen bedroom scenes with Brad Pitt would lead to lose of a large chunk of cinema audience, who admire Aniston. But Liman didn't seem to pay attention to the advice and did very little to maintain his supremacy in the bee-stung-lipped siren. 
Jolie has been accused of playing a prominent part in Pitt's split from wife Jennifer Aniston. For this reason the co-stars of movie Mr. and Mrs. Smith has to appear in separate Us TV interviews, to answer questions about their reported affair. They come to news when Pitt and Jolie were photographed together in Africa.
