Her First Movie AppearanceA casting director saw Jennifer and introduced her to Sergio Leone, who was seeking a young girl to dance in his gangster epic "Once Upon a Time in America". Jennifer got the part, and this was her first movie appearance, and the big break that launched her career. Since then she has stride a lot in this direction. |

She studied Drama
In the autumn of 1990, Jennifer enrolled at Yale, in English. She'd wanted to keep her anonymity but, unfortunately, her room-mate had seen Labyrinth and spilled the beans. She stuck it out for two years (working where possible), then switched to Stanford University in California, where she studied drama, classical theatre and improvisation under Howard Fine, Harold Guskin and the late, great Roy London

Jennifer met actor Paul Bettany, born on May 27, 1971. The couple decided to exchange wedding vows in a private ceremony in Scotland on January 1, 2003, and welcomed their first son, Stellan Bettany, on August 5, 2003. Jennifer also has another son, Kai Dugan, born in July 1997, from her previous relationship with photographer David Dugan.
