Jennifer ConnellyJennifer Lynn Connelly was born in Woodstock, New York, on 12th of December, 1970. It was just over a year after the famous music festival at Yasgur's farm. Her father sold children’s clothes in New York City, while her mother Eileen, ran an antiques shop in Woodstock. The family was well established and owned another property at Bellport, Long Island. At the age of four their parents moved to Brooklyn Heights. Just across the Brooklyn Bridge from Manhattan, Jennifer completed her primary and secondary education at St Ann's school. Her interest on education widened quickly at school. An advertising executive, who is also her family friend could recognized the 10-year-old girl’s inner talent and suggested her to enter into modeling. Jennifer being extraordinarily good-looking, the agent expected Jennifer to good child model. Then her tryst for modeling started and her first step into modeling was prestigious Ford Agency. In those days, after school, Eileen would take little Jennifer into the city to auditions. Very soon she was much successful, appearing in many newspaper and magazine ads, and in TV commercials. Though the little Jennifer made many great roles, but yet she can not remember all of those. These days, Jennifer claims she can remember very little about this, in fact recalling only one ad - for Scott's toilet paper. Jennifer's work took her all over, particularly to Europe and, while in England, she made her onscreen debut as a member of an underground child cult in the video for Duran Duran's Union of the Snake.World Wide FameJennifer's work took her all over, particularly to Europe. A Successful Career
Over the course of her career, it was successful. Connelly has played a diverse variety of roles. And in each variety of roles she has outshined. In Inventing the Abbotts it was a fun-loving, free-spirited young girl in a 1950s family, while in Mulholland Falls she portrayed a femme fatale of the same era. She portrayed a feminist coed in John Singleton's Higher Learning and a South American journalist in Of Love and Shadows.

The beautiful actress was romantically linked to such names as actor Josh Charles (born on September 15, 1971; dating in 2000), The Rocketeer costar Billy Campbell (born on July 7, 1959; together 1990-1995; engaged in 1991) and photographer David Dugan (gave her one son)
A casting director saw Jennifer and introduced her to Sergio Leone, who was seeking a young girl to dance in his gangster epic "Once Upon a Time in America". Jennifer got the part, and this was her first movie appearance, and the big break that launched her career. Since then she has stride a lot in this direction. 
Some of the additional credits of Jennifer include the Disney's 1930s family action-adventure Rocketeer, The (1991) ; the comedy Career Opportunities (1991); the love story Seven Minutes in Heaven (1985); and Jim Henson's elaborate fantasy-adventure Labyrinth (1986), in which she starred opposite David Bowie and a crew of Muppets.
