After several rejections, Jennifer finally won a lead role in the widely admired British soap opera, Brookside (1982). From 1998 to 2003, she portrayed Emily Shadwick O'Leary, the sister of another cast member, Suzanne Collins. Jennifer also tried her hand at modeling and singing. In 2002, Marks & Spencer "Relax At Home" lingerie line landed her a job posing for their campaign. After signing a contract with recording company East West, Jennifer released her debut CD, which spawned the singles Baby I Don't Care and Bye Bye Boy. In 2004, Jennifer debuted with her first big screen acting job, cast as Meg Giry in Joel Schumacher's The Phantom of The Opera. She is also scheduled to play a character in the film Hey Mr. DJ.
