Jessica Alba BiographyThe Dark Angel with a wonderful framework of 35-24-35 at 127lbs was born in Pomona, California, April 28, 1981.Since the beginning of career, this well seasoned actress has already played multiple roles ranging from light comedy to gritty drama. Jessica was nibbled by the acting virus at the age five. The effect of this bite came to notice when she was twelve and took her first acting class in Southern California. Jessica found her dreams turning into reality when she had drama and acting lessons under her young theatrical belt. It is only after nine months that she signed to a talent agency.Her stars shined in 1993, when the actress hired to play the part in the comedy "Camp Nowhere" suddenly dropped out and Jessica got a part in the comedy. Then the actress Jessica concentrated on the commercial work. To begin with she has starred with two different commercials, for both JC Penny and Nintendo. Having the firm determination to succeed, Jessica tried her hand into the realm of television series earning herself a recurring role in Nickelodeon's comedy series, 'The Secret World of Alex Mack'. Her next major role was in the Flipper series as 'Maya'. This put Jessica across a firsthand experience of how crazy some fans can get. In the way of facing ups and downs of life, once she came across receiving numerous threatening calls. Following it Jessica was abducted in the middle of the night by a group of men. Luckily, she was found in the trunk of a car, bound and gagged, but physically unharmed. Jessica is an avid swimmer and a PADI certified diver which allows her a great latitude and enjoyment in her acting career. Jessica broke out in 2000 when James Cameron, the Academy Award winning producer of Titanic tapped her to star in "Dark Angel", his FOX television series about a genetically enhanced human prototype who escaped her military handlers as a child who lives in a dreary, futuristic version of Seattle named Max Guevara. Alba's first feature film credits include "Never Been Kissed," "Idle Hands" and "The Sleeping Dictionary." In recent years, Alba has appeared in a select handful of iconic campaigns including L' Oreal cosmetics, the famous "milk mustache" Got Milk? campaign and the 30th Anniversary Fall '04 campaign for The Gap. Gruffudd's Frustration
Welsh actor IOAN GRUFFUDD was left downhearted on the set of upcoming movie THE FANTASTIC FOUR - because he never got to kiss his co-star JESSICA ALBA, whose character turns invisible at the moment the onscreen smooch, begins. To the worse, Gruffudd had to bear the mockery of the film's crew, who laughed every time he pretended to kiss somebody who wasn't there.

After a long engagement to her older co-star Michael Weatherly (Logan on Dark Angel) from 2001 to 2003, Alba was spotted with Mark Wahlberg and even made a cameo on Wahlberg's show Entourage in 2004. Recently the long engagement of Jessica and Michael seem to have reconciled.
In 2002, he was ranked #12 in Stuff magazine's "102 Sexiest Women in the World". In the same year he was voted in at #6 in FHM's Sexiest Girls of 2002 poll, American edition. For her role as Max in "Dark Angel", she was voted #4 in the Top 10 Sci-Fi Babes. 
Year 1998 was filled with many television show appearances, including a recurring role on the primetime soap Beverly Hills, 90210 (practically a prerequisite for budding young actresses), Brooklyn South and The Love Boat: The Next Wave. As for film, audiences could catch Jessica in P.U.N.K.S. (aka Rebels), Never Been Kissed, co-starring Drew Barrymore, and Idle Hands, co-starring Vivica A. Fox.
