She Plays in “Ice Princess”Michelle Trachtenberg stars as a math whiz who decides to take on the world of competitive ice skating in the Disney comedy, "Ice Princess," co-starring Kim Cattrall, Hayden Panettiere, and Trevor Blumas. Trachtenberg gained a following playing Sarah Michelle Gellar's younger sister in "Buffy the Vampire Slayer." Moving on to feature films, Trachtenberg's ready to put "Buffy" behind her and spread her wings. |

Trachtenberg has paid attention to other teenager's lives. She became the spokesperson for several anti-drug charity organizations including R.A.D.D., DARE America, and The Starlight Foundation, while the CNN headquarters in Atlanta selected her to represent the American youth in former president Clinton's launching of "The Coalition for Drug Free America" campaign.

Michelle Trachtenberg first came to fame while portraying Buffy's younger sister, Dawn Summers, on the hit teen horror series, Buffy the Vampire Slayer (2000-2003). Michelle, who is the actress that played autistic Lily Montgomery (1993-1996) on the soap opera All My Children, was recently seen as ice skater Casey Carlyle in Tim Fywell's Ice Princess (2005). 
Her contributions to the fight against drugs earned her the prestigious responsibility of representing the youth of America at CNN's headquarters in Atlanta, where she helped President Clinton launch "The Coalition for a Drug Free America" campaign. In her spare time, Trachtenberg enjoys yoga, swimming, bicycling, ice-skating, crafts, writing short stories and spending time with her family and friends and her two cats.
