Rachel Hunter Biography

Rachel Hunter was born on 9^th September, 1969 in Auckland, New Zealand. Her parent’s relationship was not very smooth. They finally got divorced when Rachel was very small. As young child she was so reserved and self-conscious. In 1982 she was diagnosed with a rare blood disease and that changed her life dramatically. The event was a turning point of her career. Thereafter she became much more outgoing and cheerful. This all required for the glam career.

She always wanted to be a ballerina. Once posing for the camera she unavoidably wounded herself. She started her modeling career at the age of 17; she started shining at the cover of countless fashion magazines, like Vogue and Cosmopolitan. She wed Rod Stewart at the age of 21, and became public figure. Together they had two children: Renee and Liam, now nine and seven respectively.

She became successful model by the 1994, both on the magazine cover as well as on the ramp. She started appearing on the cover of sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, as well as in the videos. The couple got divorced in the year 1999. Rachel had linked with many people like Mark McGrath to Bruce Willis. For the time being though, she remains single. But after Rod left her she became very busy. She worked on several films,  including 1999's A Walk in the Park and 2000's Two Shades of Blue. She also performed in 2001's Rock Star. She also hosted a fitness program for VH-1 and released several exercise videos.

She has lots of affection towards animal and works for animal rights. She makes her remarkable trip to Congo to remind the importance of gorilla as gorilla crisis is ongoing there. But there remains big trouble in Rachel’s life she was diagnosed with cancer. That really gave her a setback. But luckily the scar proved to be wrong and non-threatening. Amidst hectic schedule she easily manages her child as well as her charitable causes and also the film career.
