The actress has linked up with toy-makers Mattel to create a new Barbie modeled on her Legally Blonde character Elle Woods. The idea came to her when she was looking for politically correct Barbie dolls for her daughter. Reese says, "She loves Barbies and at first I thought, `Is she presenting the right image to women, ' and she went ahead for it. The proceeds of this tag goes to charity. |

Love At First Sight
During her twenty-first birthday party in 1997, One person in particular stood out in her mind, out of three hundred guests - fellow actor Ryan Phillippe. As he tells it, he wasn't even sure he was invited but went anyway for the free beer. They hit it off immediately, but Ryan had to leave the next day to begin filming for I Know What You Did Last Summer. They continued to correspond through letters and phone. When they met afterwards, they were already deeply in love.

Reese met her other half Ryan Phillippe, at her 21st birthday party and they married on June 5th, 1999.
Reese was once asked that how does it feel to be an actor. "The joy we get as actors is out of transforming ourselves into something that's not necessarily anything true to ourselves. And it's a power - not being yourself, and being in the role; it's just like another prop." She has realized that being an actor can live the life of many people, act like them, feel like them, understand them. In short, acting has taught her to empathise with people around her. Before agreeing to do any role, Reese tries to identify with that character. She says yes if and only when she can feel the character in her. She says "I have a weird process, but the main thing is like this: I hear her voice in my head. There are a lot of wonderful scripts my agents can't believe I pass on, but I do because I can't hear the voice. It doesn't appeal to me then. I'm really careful. Unless I hear the voice, I can't do it."
