Tara ReidAs one of the stars of the 1999 summer smash American Pie, Tara Reid became a celebrity instantly. Reid was best-known for her role as The Big Lebowski's trophy wife, Bunny Lebowski, before being cast in Pie. A native of Wyckoff, New Jersey, where she was born on November 8, 1975, Reid broke into acting at the age of six, when she was a contestant on the CBS children's game show, Child's Play.She got her first substantial film roles in 1998in films like I Woke Up Early the Day I Died, The Big Lebowski, the independent film Around the Fire, and Urban Legend, the latest in a long line of teen slasher flicks. Tara won some amount of recognition for the last film, which featured a Who's-Who line-up of post-pubescent stars and cast her as a campus radio talk show host. In 1999, she acted the part of a teenage girl keen on losing her virginity in American Pie. She also appeared in more low-profile roles in the independent film Girl and in Cruel Intentions. Later that year, she had a starring role in Body Shots, acting as part of a group of people looking for love and/or sex. She has also appeared in Josie and The Pussycats (2001), based on the Archie Comics. Her own vocals were used for the soundtrack and she was to learn how to play drums at Band Camp. She also appeared in the hit sequel to American Pie (also 2001) and became a name to be recognized. Tara was also engaged to MTV Host Carson Daly who had a small cameo in Josie and The Pussycats] up until 2001. They two parted ways after a year of courtship. Born SexySex for Tara Reid is not a physical thing. She says that one does not necessarily need to expose in order to act sexy. "I can make a scene that's not supposed to be sexy, very sexy. It's a power you're born with. It's not a physical thing, it comes from inside. It's all in the eyes." says the lady. |

Tara is good friends with: Ashton Kutcher, Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton, Nicky Hilton and Nicole Richie. Ashton and Tara would probably be friends because they co-starred in "My Boss's Daughter" together. Lindsay and Tara have been shopping together. Paris, Nicky, and Lindsay(once again) are probably together because they have one common interest- partying together till wee hours. Tara is very much passionate about her friends.

Tara Reid suffered from a brief bout of anorexia nervosa following her upsetting and traumatic breakup with MTV DJ Carson Daly (they had been engaged). This coincided with the filming of American Pie 2 (2001), which is why Ms. Reid appeared gaunt in several scenes. She appointed five doctors who constantly monitored her diet and finally she came victorious out of her anorexia as well as her depression.
