Toni Braxton is one of the most popular and commercially successful female singers of the '90s. She became famous for her uncomparable voice and best music. She has the ability to set on both sides of worlds. Braxton's music is suitable for all age group. Her music maintains all tastes and emotions for R&B audiences, smooth enough for adult modern; stylish enough for adults, and sultry enough for younger listeners; strong enough in the face of heartbreak to appeal to women, but ravishing enough to nab the fellas.

By keeping in taste of all age group she released two albums that sold eight million copies over night. Yes, she scores great hit and manage to make it on the pop and R&B chart. The hit includes “Un-break My Heart". This is the longest-running number one pop hits of the rock era. The Braxtons released a single in 1990 called "The Good Life,” The album could not do well but yes it draws an attention of L.A. Reid and Babyface, the red-hot songwriting/production team who had just formed their own label, LaFace (which was associated with Arista).

Braxton was the first female artist to sign LaFace. She signed contract in the year 1991. Then she appeared on the soundtrack of Eddie Murphy’s Boomerang. It was her high profile appearance.

R&B diva Toni Braxton is looking to return to the road to promote her latest album, Heat, which has been certified double platinum for sales of 2 million copies. She hopes to hit the road in March. Braxton recently described to LAUNCH the euphoria she experiences while performing: "We're just talking about possibly touring in March. Touring is my favorite part. It's like my adrenaline rush, so I'm hoping to tour. Well, it's like my high. I have the microphone, I have the audience--it's just a wonderful feeling. It's, like, when you're on a roller coaster for me."

Toni Braxton Tired Of 'Lies'

Though Toni Braxton's song "Hit The Freeway," produced by the Neptunes, entered Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks chart just two weeks ago, the Arista Recording artist is also readying her follow-up release. The second single from Braxton's fifth album, More Than a Woman, is the record "Lies, Lies, Lies" that was produced by Braxton's husband, Keri Lewis.
